At the Excellence in Youth Leadership and Service Foundation, we believe that youth leadership matters — not someday, not when they’re older, but right now. We exist to champion young changemakers and give them the tools, support, and encouragement they need to lead boldly in their communities today.

How We Started

In 2024, a passionate group of civic leaders, youth mentors, and educators came together, united by years of watching young people make a difference — sometimes with little or no support. They recognized a powerful truth: too many talented, driven young leaders (and the organizations that nurture them) do not have the resources needed to soar.

And so, the Excellence in Youth Leadership and Service Foundation was born: To ignite the spark of youth leadership and service, invest in their dreams, fuel their potential, and help them transform their communities and shape a better future.

Meet Our Founding Team

Our foundation is run entirely by volunteers — people who have dedicated their lives to youth development, leadership, and civic service. These founding members bring decades of experience in mentoring, education, and nonprofit leadership. Together, they share one mission: to elevate youth leadership and ensure young changemakers have the support they need to succeed.
